- My name is Sharon, and I am a single mom to 4 wonderful children!I Live In Pa, have all my life! my now X husband who thought the grass would be greener on the other side! He left us 6 yrs ago (2001), after being together for 18 yrs (married 11 dated 7yrs before marriage). At the age of Nine the Dr's discovered I have Scoliosis... In 2005 a Intrathoracic meningocele on my spine, I also have this genitic disorder... neurofibromatosis. IN NOV of 2007 I was found to have GIST - (GIST is a rare type of sarcoma found in the digestive system, most often in the wall of the stomach. Some GISTS are benign (not cancerous) but they can become cancerous if not treated. Generally speaking, the larger the GIST, the more likely it is to be cancerous.)My GIST was cancerous. The Dr's got it all and So far so good! That is Why I named my blog... I'm a Survivor... For all I have been through in 42 years!

you are so right. i try not to do iot but some just flood to the surface. in my journal i try to relate memories that might help someone else or show them how God's love and power brought me through. they say it helps get out of system but sometimes it does not. lol then agaun i read some of mine and ask Lord how did I survive that? and he satys silly child I was there holding you up. Thats why I love that footprints poem ! june
